Emergency Yellow Dot Program – Hillsborough County has a new emergency program. It is called the Yellow Dot program. It was created by a widow whose husband had a diabetic episode, passed out and hit a tree or pole and was killed in the accident. She wanted to give something back and created this program. Go to a fire station (there is one across Sheldon from the park) and ask for a yellow dot – you simply put that on the back window of your car and fill out a medical form for anyone driving or riding in the car who has medical issues and put the completed form in the glove compartment. Then if you are in an accident and unconscious, the first responders see that yellow dot and immediately go to the glove compartment in your car to see how they can help with any medical emergencies. A firefighter has expressed what a wonderful program this is to help them help us.
Illegal Construction – Any addition to homes needs to have building permits that are issued by the County and the park. Code Enforcement does drive through the park periodically and checks. There is a fine assessed and an order to remove construction if it doesn’t comply. Please save yourself time, effort and money and do it right the first time! Construction of any structure on the lot is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN and violators are being reported to the County and if the structure is not removed that is grounds for eviction. Please remember that your are renting the lot so you CANNOT build on somebody else’s property. This is becoming in a big problem, please STOP BUILDING on the lots.
Unregistered Guests – Any guest that is in your home more than 15 consecutive days MUST be registered with the park. Anyone staying past that time without being registered with the park office will be evicted from the park. These guests MUST also know the park rules …. speed limit, noise, and no parking on the street restrictions.
Renting homes – The park rule is one is not allowed to rent a home in the park, this includes any shed converted into dwelling or new structures Those cases are being reported to the County and are not allowed by the park. The home owner MUST be living in the home at all times and is responsible for the actions of their guests and roommates.
Programa de Emergencias “Yellow Dot” El condado de Hillsborough tiene un nuevo programa de emergencias que fue creado por la viuda de una persona que tuvo un ataque diabético mientras manejada un vehículo, murió y causo un grave accidente. El programa funciona yendo a una estación de bomberos y llenando una forma que contiene su historial médico y si sufre de alguna condición grave. Con esto usted obtiene un sticker amarillo que debe pegar en la parte trasera de su carro, así, si usted tiene un accidente, los servicios de emergencia pueden saber al instante de cualquier condición que usted parezca y eso podría salvarle la vida gracias a una reacción más rápida del cuerpo médico.
Construcciones no Permitidas – Cualquier adición al exterior de las casas requiere un permiso de construcción del Condado y del parque (Adición es distinto a construir estructuras o convertir casitas de desahogo en apartamentos para rentar, lo cual está rotundamente prohibido). El Condado está recorriendo el parque periódicamente y esta sancionando aquellas adiciones o construcciones que no han sido autorizadas. Las personas que no están obteniendo los permisos debidos están siendo multadas y/o obligadas a remover las construcciones. Una vez más, por favor ahórrese inconvenientes y dinero y no construya o adicione nada que no esté previamente autorizado por el parque y el condado. El hecho de que el condado autorice cualquier proyecto no quiere decir que el parque lo haga. La construcción de cualquier estructura en los lotes está TOTALMENTE PROHIBIDA y las personas que rompan esta regla pueden ser sujetas a multas del condado y a evicción del parque. Por favor recuerde que usted está rentando un terreno así que no puede construir en la propiedad del parque. Esto se está convirtiendo en un gran problema, así que por favor PARE Y REMUEVA LAS CONSTRUCCIONES NO AUTORIZADAS.
Renta de casas– Las casas no se pueden rentar, los dueños deben vivir en ellas. Esto incluye cualquier conversión de casitas de desahogo en apartamentos para rentar o cualquier estructura no autorizada. Esos casos están siendo reportados al condado y no son permitidos en el parque.
